Dr. Steven Dilday on the Puritan Hard Drive

An old disciple, an old Christian, is rich in spiritual experiences. Oh, the experiences that he hath of the ways of God, of the workings of God, of the work of God, of the love of God! Oh, the divine stories that old Christians can tell of the power, sweetness, and usefulness of the word, as a light to lead the soul, as a staff to support it, as a spirit to quicken it, as an anchor to stay it, and as a cordial to comfort and strengthen it! Oh, the stories that he can tell you concerning the love of Christ, the blood of Christ, the offices of Christ, the merits of Christ, the righteousness of Christ, and the graces of Christ, and the influences of Christ! Oh, the stories that an old disciple can tell you of the indwellings of the Spirit, of the operations of the Spirit, of the leadings of the Spirit, of the witnessings of the Spirit, and of the comforts and joys of the Spirit! Oh, the stories that an old Christian can tell you of the evil, bitterness, deceitfulness, prevalency of sin, and the happiness of the conquest over it! Oh, the stories that he can tell you of the snares, devices, temptations, rage, watchfulness of Satan, and the ways of triumphing over him!

Jim Dodson Reviews and Recommends the Puritan Hard Drive

JimDodson.jpg

If you love the Bible, then you may well be Reformed. If you think of yourself as Reformed, but you have seldom or have never read older Reformed literature, prepare to be challenged. The Puritan Hard Drive provides primary sources and depth of theological and spiritual insight which is lacking in much of what is passed off as genuine Reformed theology. If you think of yourself as conservative, the older Puritan and Reformed authors will help you sort reality from myth in your quest to be truly Reformed. There are more solid resources for less money here than anywhere else. I highly recommend you take responsibility for your soul and spend a few shekels for this cup of cold water in the midst of the modern religious desert.
