The Pope at the time of John Calvin's death, Pious IV, once said "the strength of that heretic [John Calvin] consisted in this, that money never had the slightest charm for him. If I had such servants my dominion would extend from sea to sea" (Christian History magazine, Vol. 5, No. 4, p. 2).

Certainly a pertinent comment, as in this book Calvin exposes Romish image and relic worship as heathen idolatry, striking at the senseless superstition of Papal (Roman Catholic) folly which, as here, is often based more on filling their coffers than even making an attempt at appearing to follow Scripture or obey Christ.
